Sub-Saharan Africa

Abrupt political change, lack of transparency, and social unrest continue to make Africa a difficult continent in which to do business. Despite its reputation for political chaos and economic disaster, however, many countries of the sub-Saharan region are succeeding or on the verge of economic take-off.

Asia's unquenchable demand for oil, minerals, and other natural resources has introduced new and powerful players to Africa, and the West can no longer rely on monopolistic access to the continent. Working alongside Menas is one way to reduce the unknowns.

With our long experience of Africa and multidisciplinary approach, we regularly assist not only IOCs with a track record on the region but also those venturing to the continent for the first time. We are particularly strong on West Africa as far south as Angola, the Sahel, and the countries of the Horn of Africa.
