About Menas

Menas Associates is a boutique political risk consultancy specialising in providing analysis and consulting services to multinational companies and governments operating in emerging markets. Menas Associates was established in 1978 and has evolved continuously since then to adapt to changing client needs for information and analysis on political and investment conditions around the world. Their original focus was the Middle East and North Africa, but over the past twenty years, our regional focus has expanded to encompass Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and Central Asia.

Likewise, the range of services has expanded to include some 15 weekly and monthly publications on political, business and security developments in nine emerging markets, political risk assessments, stakeholder analysis and business integrity support, as well as border disputes and commercial arbitration services. One thing that hasn't changed is our commitment to bringing the best expertise available for the benefit of our clients. In addition to our London-based core team, we have an extensive network of external consultants and contributors, who provide information, analysis and experience to our consulting work and our publications. This flexibility enables us to ensure that our clients receive the very best support.
